For those aspiring to be Pool Guardian or Swim Coach Course Requirement:
* Lifesaving 123 Course
Lifesaving Course Details:
1. Lifesaving 123 Course (Foundation)
* Monthly Intake with 4 or 6 Sessions
* 4 sessions of 3 hours each (Total Contact Hours: 12 to 15hrs)
* Online E-Learning Self-Paced (3 Hours)
* Fee: $450 nett (inclusive of test fee & training notes)
* Additional complimentary training provided by the swim school if needed to ensure readiness for the test.
2. Bronze Medallion Course + SLSS CPR (Lifeguard Course)
* Weekly Training Sessions (1 to 1.5hrs)
* Fee: $640 nett (inclusive of first Attempt SLSS CPR & BM test)
* Additional complimentary training provided by the swim school if needed to ensure readiness for the test
Lifesaving 123 is the basic of lifesaving skills and techniques. It aims to equip learners with preliminary skills and knowledge of water safety. The course equips learners skills and knowledge including resuscitation and water rescue preparatory to the Bronze Medallion.
Bronze Medallion aims to establish a basic level of proficiency in knowledge, understanding and practical ability for aquatic rescue situations. This course includes SLSS Cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) course which is a pre-requisite for Bronze Medallion Certification.
CPR + AED Course aims to provide participants with knowledge & techniques to recognise and mitigate cardiac arrest and choking in adults. This course will also provide you with the knowledge and skills on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

Participants are required to have basic swimming ability, such as being able to swim continuously (e.g. 200m) with confidence. This ensures they can safely perform the required skills during training and assessments. Specific entry requirements may vary depending on the course level.
To become a certified lifeguard, you will typically need to complete the following certifications:
Lifesaving 1-2-3 (LS123)
Bronze Medallion (BM)
SLSS CPR, SFA + AED Certification
